Cancellation — Food

When you can cancel

You may cancel a food order before the restaurant accepts it, and in some cases before the kitchen starts preparing. Once preparation begins, cancellation is usually turned off because the meal cannot be resold to another customer.

The order page shows whether Cancel is still available. Do not rely on Grocery or Shopping cancellation windows — those apply to store and marketplace orders only.

Refunds on cancellation

If cancellation is accepted, the paid amount (meal, taxes, packing and delivery as applicable) is refunded to the original payment method. Wallet credits are usually faster; card and UPI typically take 3–7 working days.

No returns of prepared food

Meals, beverages and add-ons cannot be returned after delivery. If the order is wrong, incomplete, spilled or unsafe, report it from the Food order page as soon as you open the bag so we can process a refund or replacement with the restaurant under the Food refund policy.
